ENGINEERING PROPOSALS FOR THE ROYAL STREET EXTENTION - RFP 2022-05
The City of Harrisonville, Missouri invites interested firms to submit proposals for services as described herein.
Ten (10) copies of the submission must be received by the City Engineer, 300 East Pearl, P.O. Box 367, Harrisonville, Missouri, 64701, marked “Engineering Proposals for the Royal Street Extension RFP-2022-05”.
Proposal must be received no later than: 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, May 26, 2022.

SUMMARY OF REQUEST
The City of Harrisonville is seeking responses from experienced and qualified Consultants to provide an alignment and engineering study for a three (3) lane commercial street extension of Royal Street from Missouri Hwy 291 to Jefferson Parkway.
The roadway improvement project will include, but not limited to, two complete streets. These streets will consist of three lanes, two roundabouts, sidewalks, curb and gutters, storm water conveyance systems, water main improvements, sanitary sewer relocations, streetlights, and intersection improvements.
In addition to the roadway, the work will also include a regional stormwater detention basin and park improvements to the four ballfields, parking lots, and the relocation of the existing rodeo grounds.
Initially, the work shall consist of the evaluation of conceptual alignment layouts, and the preparation of cost estimates in accordance with the City of Harrisonville standards.

The City of Harrisonville invites interested parties to submit a signed and sealed bid for the purchase of property at 605 E Wall Street, Harrisonville, MO 64701.
Proposals must be received by the City Clerk’s Office, 300 E. Pearl Street, Harrisonville, MO 64701, marked “Purchase of property at 605 E Wall Street - THE CITY OF HARRISONVILLE” no later than: 5:00 p.m., CST on Friday, May 20, 2022.
The City of Harrisonville is the only authorized source of proposal forms. Proposal forms obtained from any other source may be incomplete. Offerors using a proposal form not obtained from the City of Harrisonville risk not receiving any necessary addenda, eliminating their bid from consideration.

HALSEY TO JAMES SANITARY SEWER PROJECT
The City of Harrisonville invites interested parties to submit a signed and sealed proposal for the Halsey to James Sanitary Sewer Project.
Sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk at City Hall, Harrisonville, Missouri, until 2:00 PM on THURSDAY, MAY 19, 2022, at which time proposals for: Halsey to James Sanitary Sewer Project will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work under this Contract consists of the following:
Construction of approximately 396 feet of 10” diameter sanitary sewer pipe, reinforced concrete manholes, and other miscellaneous appurtenances including demolition, excavation, backfilling, compaction, grading, fencing, pavement repairs, and site restoration.
All equipment, material and workmanship must be in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and other Contract Documents in the Project Manual on file with the City of Harrisonville, Missouri. ABATEMENT OF HEALTH & ENVIRONMENTAL NUISANCE VIOLATIONS
The City of Harrisonville Codes Administration Department is now accepting proposals for the Abatement of Health and Environmental Nuisance Violations. Sealed bids are due in the Codes Administration Office by 2 p.m. CDT, Thursday, May 19, 2022, and shall have the words “ABATEMENT BID” on the front of the envelope.
Each bid shall give a cost for removal of appliances/furniture, mowing of residential lots and cost per hour for commercial mowing and special clean-up. The bid shall state the type and amount of equipment the bidder can supply to satisfy the contract.
The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the best interest of the City. The following criteria will be used in establishing the successful bidder: (1) Price, (2) Past experience and/or references, (3) Ability to perform work (labor and equipment).
Scope of Service
• Abate all noxious weed and high grass violations
• Abate all refuse violations
• Other related nuisance violations as deemed necessary
