City Hall seeking to update vital information for some utility accounts

City Hall Original

There are several factors that go into keeping our community strong and functioning smoothly.

Of these factors, the undeniable key to the success of Harrisonville is a working relationship between our residents and City staff and officials. This partnership has existed since the formation of our community nearly 200 years ago and we know that it will continue long into the future.

As we continue to build upon this relationship, we need to update some vital information in our Utility Office.

Many of our residents have enjoyed life in Harrisonville for many years. And, in the past, signing up for utilities required providing City staff with very little information. As we continue to grow and strive for success, we have found that, for some accounts, we do not have all of the information we need to best serve our residents.

To get that information and continue to serve our residents the best we can, our Utility staff will be sending out letters to residents whose accounts are missing important pieces of information. If you receive one of these letters, please contact our staff at City Hall and help them get your account back up to date. These updates can be made by phone (816) 380-8900 or in person at City Hall, located at 300 E Pearl Street.

All information provided is necessary for effectively serving our residents and will receive our highest level of security.

Another way you can help our community going strong is to make sure that the contact information and emergency contact information within our system is up to date. This will allow our staff to best serve you in an emergency situation, such as a power outage, water main break, etc. To update your information, please calling the Utility Office or come in and speak with our Utility staff at City Hall.

Once again, we greatly appreciate the relationship we have with our residents and are grateful for the work being done to keep that relationship strong.
